According to a Mashable article, an algorithm has been developed by researchers in the U.K. that follows your own mobility patterns and adjusts for inconsistencies by factoring in the patterns of people in your social group.

It is eerie enough that our phones can know our exact location, now what if they knew where we are going next too? New technology is allowing phones to predict our future location, which could mean a whole new plane for advertising.
