Rise and Grind with Kristina Guerrero

Kristina Guerrero graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 2002. As a distinguished graduate of Air Force pilot training, she went on to fly C-130s. She is a decorated Air Force Veteran, and proud recipient of two Combat Air Medals for missions flown in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom. With over 1000 hours of community service, she returned to school in 2009 to obtain a Master's in Occupational Therapy.
A life changing backcountry trip in 2011 with her rescue dog, Dunkan, inspired her to create TurboPUP ‘Complete K9 Meal Bars,’ in her kitchen in Oregon. Her business accomplishments include: Count Me In: Women Veteran Entrepreneur pitch winner, Bend Venture Conference finalist, CitiSalutes Realizing Your Dream winner, and Bend Oregon’s Women of the Year, 2015. In January of 2015, she appeared on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank, where she partnered with the formidable Daymond John.
She currently resides in Shelburne, VT with her husband, 21 month old daughter, two rescue dogs, twenty seven chickens, and her rescue horse. She continues to practice occupational therapy, serves on the Shelburne Social Services Committee, and nurtures TurboPUP. Kristina enjoys camping, music, horseback riding, skiing of any kind and spiritual pursuits.
