Al & Brittiani Baker

Father-Daughter Entrepreneurs, Finger-Lickin’ Tastemakers, Partners in Barbecue

After 13 successful years in the NFL Al “Bubba” Baker followed his true passion and opened a BBQ restaurant in Avon, Ohio. In 2006 Al “Bubba” Baker partnered with his daughter Brittani Bo Baker and patented the product and the process for removing bones from an actual slab of ribs. This method of deboning the ribs leaves the mouthwatering meat intact making it possible to enjoy slow, smoked deboned BBQ ribs with a knife and a fork. “No Mess, No Fuss.” Al and Brittani are no strangers to the trials, tribulations, and hard work that comes along with entrepreneurship. They spent sleepless hours making their product in a local grocery store’s packing plant during the night when it wasn’t occupied by its owner. In 2013 the father-daughter co-inventors had the amazing opportunity to pitch their patented product on ABC’s hit show, Shark Tank. The duo’s impressive pitch brought them into a partnership with branding expert and owner of FUBU, Daymond John. Their pitch was voted one of the top 18 pitches in Shark Tank history by Inc Magazine. Now, America is finally getting to experience the great taste and convenience of the Patented Boneless Baby Back Ribs
