Daymond John will be guest speaking at the June 8, 2011 event, hosted by the Black Retail Action Group (BRAG), as he shares his stories of success. Presented at Macy’s Herald Square, this annual BRAG event will be attended by members of the organization, retail industry professionals, fashion influencers and college students from across the country entering the BRAG 2011 Summer Internship program.
Founded in 1970, BRAG a national 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, works to promote the acceptance and participation of African Americans and all people of color at all levels of retail and retail related industries. BRAG has several action programs including an employment referral service, workshops, internships, training institutes, a holiday toy drive and academic scholarships (more than 400 to date) awarded annually to deserving students interested in pursuing business careers in retail and related industries.
