Daymond and NFTE are at it again! With NFTE programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities and to plan for successful futures through entrepreneurship, young people discover that what they are learning in the classroom is relevant to the real world. You may recall the story about one of NFTE’s students who won a day with Daymond after winning Choice Program’s Entrepreneurship competition.
This time, instead of watching Daymond for a day Daymond will be observing NFTE alumni present their business plans. With Daymond as one of the judges on the National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, these students will get a taste of what it’s like to present in front of a shark!
The event will take place on Thursday, October 6th, 2011 at Millennium Broadway Hotel. Did we mention that the grand prize is $10,000?
