It’s a fact: you don't exist without your customers

Your target market.
Your ideal customer.
Your audience.

Call it whatever you want but don’t ignore it.

As a business owner, you don’t exist without customers. It’s that simple. You can have the best branding… the best product, but if you don’t know who your target market is, you won’t sell a darn thing.

It’s a fact: understanding your target market is critical to the success of your business.

Have you ever tried selling cat toys to dog owners? You might get a few bites here and there (gifts, families with cats and dogs) but imagine how many more sales you could make if you were targeting the right people...cat owners.

To know how to attract your customer, you have to understand:

- Who they are
- How to serve them and
- What gets them to buy

If you are serious about taking the next step, then it’s time to get serious about your target market (and trust me, not everyone is your target market). You need to perform a Target Market Analysis.

Your Target Market Analysis is THE tool that allows you to identify and understand your customers, and it moves you one step closer to developing and delivering the right product.

Your marketing plan means nothing without this analysis. If you don’t know who your customer is, you can’t possibly know how to reach them.

I know that this task sounds cumbersome, maybe even scary but if you want to launch a successful business, it's not negotiable. Do you think I would invest in an entrepreneur pitching me on Shark Tank that doesn’t know who their target market is? Of course not!

So many of you have told me that you skip this step because you find it difficult and intimidating. So I sat down and developed a course just  for identifying your target market where you will learn EXACTLY how to identify your customers in less than a day. I also give you a little inside peek on exactly how I did this for Fubu.

This course normally sells for $149 but I am giving it to you today completely free. When you decide that you are SERIOUS about your business, you can access the course here.

Do you know who your customers are? Let me know HOW you find them. I want to hear from you. Hit me up at daymond@daymondjohn.com.
