Helping Women Take Their Power Back

Today I sat down with Cindy Eckert, an entrepreneur and vocal advocate for women’s rights and health. She has been in the healthcare industry for over 24 years, and has successfully created and sold two businesses for a combined result of $1.5 billion, Slate Pharmaceuticals and Sprout Pharmaceuticals (which she bought back.) She is now the CEO of The Pink Ceiling, which invests in and mentors women-owned businesses.

In this Powertalk, Cindy talks to me about being a top leader in women’s health, which is fueled by her experience as a women’s rights activist and feminist. Her company, Sprout Pharmaceuticals, created products like Addyi, the first drug for low female sexual desire, and other important products like flushable pregnancy tests and tests for date rape drugs.

In this video, we talk about:

  • Why women’s health needs more attention
  • The future of medicine
  • How she got more money out of an offer by walking out of it
  • The Women on Top campaign

Cindy is breaking barriers and disrupting the women’s health industry through her intelligence and resilience - AKA, she’s putting the “Power” in PowerTalks!
