Shark Tank Features Daymond’s Work with President Obama as a Presidential Ambassador

The October 7th episode of Shark Tank featured a special update dedicated to Daymond’s experience as a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship (PAGE) at this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) hosted by President Barack Obama. The annual Summit, which, this year. was held at Stanford University, showcases the best in entrepreneurship from around the world. At this year’s Summit in particular, Daymond saw first-hand the impact that Shark Tank has on aspiring entrepreneurs from around the world.

In 2015 President Obama named Daymond as a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship (PAGE). The aim of the PAGE program is to increase access to capital, education and mentorship to help entrepreneurs around the world.   As a PAGE, Daymond also attended GES 2015 with President Obama in Nairobi, Kenya.

This past spring, Daymond was invited to make history when he accompanied President Obama to Havana, Cuba.  This trip marked the first time that a sitting United States President had visited Cuba since 1928.  The trip allowed President Obama and the PAGE Program to spread the power of entrepreneurship and encourage young Cuban business men and women to tap into their full potential.
