Daymond Speaks at Yale’s Dyslexia Symposium

Last week, Daymond spoke to a crowd of 200 guests at Yale University’s Dyslexia Symposium, along with legend Harry Belafonte, to discuss how as many as 1 in 5  American children have dyslexia and how a group at Yale is looking at dyslexia as a civil rights issue. This group at Yale is looking at diagnosis and treatment of dyslexia and how diagnosis happens less often in urban neighborhoods.

Mr. John and Mr. Belafonte, who both have dyslexia, announced the creation of a multicultural dyslexia awareness campaign to raise awareness of dyslexia in African American and Latino communities.
