Hey guys, it's Daymond John here, joining my friends on TMZ LIVE to "Follow the Money" and talk about the future of Uber and Lyft.
A California appeals court ruled that Uber and Lyft need to hire their drivers as employees, instead of keeping them as independent contractors. The issue? Not only would the drivers have more money taken out of their paycheck, but they also may lose their jobs entirely. Others are worried that the state is trying to get rid of independent contractors as a whole.
