“Not everybody will give it to you and not everybody deserves it”

I RESPECTFULLY disagree with part of your statement. I agree that not everyone will give you their respect – but having “self respect” will prevent such a person from ever taking respect from you.

I believe that EVERYONE deserves respect and the issue lies in humanity. The key is learning to respect the differences in people thus keeping respect for the individual. Demonstrating disrespect for another regardless of the reason is a true reflection of oneself

Its Feb. 9th and I’ve just discovered your blog… I’ve read each of your weekly postings, to-date. You make some very wise perspectives relative to life, work, play, friends, family…etc. The key theme throughout all your comments, center around “character”. Character Developement is a continuous process. Once you’ve established a strong foundation of key principles and morals, then I think the daily challenges that come your way, are easier to handle. Daymond, you’re truly an inspiration. Keep up the great work.
