“Shitty clothes delivered on time always sell more than good clothes delivered late.”
It’s unreasonable to expect that every single thing you do is going to turn out perfectly, or to make you millions of dollars, or make you famous. But the one thing that you must absolutely NOT do is fail to meet THE deadline.
I know it sounds like a really basic piece of advice, but sometimes the basics get overlooked. Whether you are selling clothes or cakes, you must be able to get your product to the market on time, or even better, early, because if you can’t, someone else has definitely got you beat.
Don’t let perfection stand in the way of progress. Of course you want your product to be the best but ask yourself, “What is perfection stopping me from doing today?”
