Display of Power – Point of the Week – Failure

FAILURE…This week, think about how many times you have failed in life. I don’t care who you are or where you come from, we have all had the feeling of failing at something one time or another. The question is, did you let failure stop you? If so, why?

I’m sure when you were a child and failed, you tried and tried again, till you succeeded. Your first attempts to walk, talk and eat as a child certainly all ended in failure, but you never gave up, because as a child you had no fear of embarrassment.

As many of us grow older, we try less and less so we can avoid the embarrassment that we may face. In all reality, what may be more embarrassing is never trying at all and never advancing in life. Successful people fail more than they succeed, because they know the only way to advance in life is to test the boundaries, time and time again.

    Powerful column this week Da’….. Thanks for that. You know that’s something that’s learned in the dating / social game too. If you afraid of rejection, you not gettin’ anywhere…… But It needs to be applied to business as well.

    I find comfort in a wisdom I think came from Rev Run: “Not all wonders are lost”. So though I had always had plans to find my fortune earlier in life… I’ve been researching and learning through every experience I’ve had. So though some may feel like, she’s always talking about having her own business, so when the hell is she going to do it… to all of them I say.. Now is my time, and remember that Not all wonders are lost!

    I like this D, thanks for displaying some of Mr Fords’ wise words. I like what he had to say about nightmares in business also. I believe failure is nothing but feedback, which of course is needed throughout business life. Perception is the issue sir, feel me?
