Thank you for your comment Semper Veritas, however I cordially disagree.

There isn’t a thing in this world that can take the place of persistence. Talent won’t - nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius won’t either - un-rewarded genius is almost a proverb. If it’s not, Confuscious missed out on one! Education will not - the world is full of educated derelicts.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. We must embrace the motto of ‘press on’ - which has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. Everyone will fall, the failure comes in not standing back up.

The chains that bind are mental unless of course you are previously mentioned educated derelict who is in jail - take that time to reflect, there’s always a positive to be made out of a negative if you change your way of thinking. So many are locked into a certain mind frame - which is a shame, because this world has so much to offer everyone.

Sorry Daymond for blowing up your message board, but had to comment.

It is funny how you give such advise like so when you place chains on others either through you or your bodyguard and you aren’t “free” yourself. So, would you consider this practicing what you preach? Also, the chains with people are always mental. Take a talented person who is always being told they will never succeed or someone who is talented and is constantly getting abused. They will never know how to be “free” unless someone shows them or give them a chance. Plus, that goes for other abusive situations too because that elephant was being abused.

I love that analogy. It’s so very true in the sense that most people hold back and never truly accomplish what they want to in life simply because they think they can’t. Heck, I asked Daymond John to put a white boy in Rocawear on a billboard in TimesSquare - do I think it will happen, probably not - could I make a marketing/economics case backed by statistical analysis? Probably. The point is, everyone has a cross to bare, everyone has chains that bind them, without going for it - without breaking those chains, you are committing yourself to be average for the rest of your life. I’m an idea man, an entrepreneur - nothing works 100% of the time, but if one idea works very well, then you’ve officially shed those chains.

The act of trying alone separates you from that 2 ton elephant.
