“For me, the word “no” is an absolute maybe”

This line from Display of Power defines the attitude that you must have in order to succeed in business. This is the method of thinking that allowed me to finance my first big operation. Trying to get a loan back when I was just breaking out from that first trade show in Vegas, “no” was the only word I was hearing from the banks.

Without applying constant pressure and continually striving forward I might have gotten held back as opposed to making the orders that were placed upon me. That was a key moment for me where holding back or giving up would have drastically altered the outcome of my financial ventures.
